"Eww! Oom stop it! I don't like it when you give me Raffenhoffers!" 5 year old Princess Connelia shouted.
"Aww, come on baby sister, Daddy likes it." Oom giggled as she did it again.
"Honestly, my liege, don't you think we should do something?" Dorkus' servant, Pinter, asked him. "Why? It's much more fun to watch that thing squirm…" he chuckled darkly.
"Aaah, Dorkus, there you are." The emperor approached Dorkus. "I have a task for you." Dorkus brightened up. "What shall I do Most Great One?"
"Starting today I want you to teach my dear daughter, Connelia, the customs of Zeenu, our ways of life." The emperor smiled.
"What?!! My lord, surely you can find someone else to teach the little pe—I mean the young princess…" Dorkus complained.
The girls overheard his cry and stopped fighting to look at him.
"You are the best teacher there is, Dorkus. From now on, you are her teacher." The emperor said as he walked away. Connelia looked at Dorkus. 'A teacher? But why won't Father teach me? I mean he is the emperor…'
Pinter decided to fly over to the girls and landed on Connelia's head. "Hello, young princess…my master is simply honored to be your teacher!"
"Hello…and he doesn't seem very thrilled to me…" Connelia said softly as she looked over at her sister.
Dorkus approached her and scowled. "Listen here, you little brat…I'm only doing this because your father so ordered. The sooner we finish, the sooner you're out of my way. So if I were you, I—"
"When do I start my lessons, teacher?" Connelia interrupted.
Dorkus stopped and scowled again. "Rule #1 is to never interrupt me in the middle of talking or ranting, little pest…"
"Yes, teacher…" Connelia bowed respectfully. "Hmph!" Dorkus grabbed her arm and began to drag her to his home. "I'll see you later Oom!" she shouted, causing him to cringe at her voice. "Ok, little sister…I hope you behave yourself!" Oom shouted back. 'Females…' Dorkus sighed in frustration.
At his home, Dorkus dragged Connelia to a little room. "This is where you'll be staying…enjoy!" he shoved her in and slammed the door in her face. Connelia became sad and started to cry. Pinter who was up on a perch heard her and went in the room to console her. "Don't worry, princess, Dorkus is just in a foul mood is all…" "For having to teach me…right?" she asked through tears. "Not at all! But fear not, I will keep you company." Pinter smiled. Connelia sniffled. "T-Thank you…" she petted him.
